Cuban cuisine is a fusion of aboriginal customs with Spanish, African and Caribbean cuisine. In our case, inherited habits around food marked a pattern with high consumption of fats and sugars. The fried dishes are the favorite of the daily menu, and pork is usually chosen. Salads are characterized by optional consumption and are presented finely chopped and placed elegantly on the plate. Garlic is the most used spice and pushes all aromatic plants. In the desserts prevail jams, sweets in syrup and puddings.

Dishes seasoned with spices of the most varied origins. Eating in Cuba means thinking about the garlic, onion, pepper, oregano, pepper. Meat and chicken are combined with croutons and fries. The pork rinds and the famous Macitas overlook the moro rice or congrí, giving it a special flavor.

Most popular recipes in Cuba are: ajiaco, potaje (black beans asleep), frituras de malanga, ropa vieja, picadillo a la habanera, tamales, traditional roasted pork, congrí,  tostones, buñuelos y torrejas. Likewise, seafood is very common here. Products such as lobsters and shrimps are less expensive in coastal towns.
